During the last year, Estrella participated in a number of exhibitions and conferences including: The Oil & Gas exhibition in Buenos Aires which took place in October; The Petroleum Congress in Bogota which took place during November; and the first Geothermal Congress in Santiago de Chile which was in December.

For this event Estrella brought our friends, clients, colleagues, and suppliers to our stand where we informed them about company news and available equipment. Estrella also participated in the Interactive Energy Congress where our new alliance with Scientific Drilling International (SDI) for directional drilling technology was announced.

During this event, Estrella announced the official formation of Estrella Petrolera de Colombia (EPCOL) which is the result of the acquisition of STS de los Andes, Petroland, and Zigma by Estrella International Energy Services Ltd. Currently Estrella has nearly 500 employees along with 18 drilling and workover rigs in Colombia.

Estrella actively participated in the first Geothermal Congress in Chile, where details of our geothermal drilling equipment was presented. Estrella, has been drilling geothermal wells in Chile since 2008. Estrella also presented to the Congress on the topic of drilling equipment for use in the Chilean geothermal environment.
